Feature Frame 2025 is calling all machinima creators to bring their feature-length films (20+ minutes) to life. Whether your story is epic, emotional, experimental, or magical, this is your chance to showcase your cinematic vision to a global audience.

Feature Frame isn’t just a contest, it’s a celebration of machinima as cinematic art. We provide a stage for creators to share breathtaking stories from our virtual world, Second Life, where imagination knows no limits.

🎬 What are the rules?

​

• Films must be at least 20 minutes in length

• Films must be original stories by the creator

• Films must be created inside of Second Life

• Only new films created/posted after September 5th, 2025 allowed

• No copyright music or characters allowed

• All films must include the Feature Frame logo at the start of the film (Opening Logo available here!)

• Film Screening: December 6th, 2025 (Live on YouTube & Inworld @ the Second Life Cinema)
